Google card by google is announced as a new feature for adding themselves to google search. It’s called Google people card. And it is for everyone. This is basically a virtual online card or an online business card for business people, freelancers and influencers.
By using this feature, anyone can generate his or her visiting card, a virtual visiting card which will be useful for reaching the right people in the right situation. If you need someone individual with some specific information or occupation then now you can search for this.
Creating a Card is as easy as signing into your Google account. You need to follow simple steps below to sign up for this service.
Step 1: To produce a Google people Card, users will first require to sign in to their Google Account, search for their name on Google Search
Note: For this to work you need to make sure that your web and app activity is on in google settings.
Step 2: Tap on the “add me to Search” option that appears on the page. Upload an image of yourself from your account.
Step 3: Add a summary and connections to social profiles or websites.
Step 4: Tap on the “save” option and that’s all. There is also an option to add your phone number and email address. But these things are optional meaning you can or can’t add them. It’s all depends on you.
For every different card, Google Said, the user must verify the account with a distinct mobile number. He or she will have total charge of the information which is to be entered on the card and he or she can opt-out of the activity anytime, which will stop their details from rising in Search.
Google has set many controls and protection so that to make sure everyone finds authentic and useful information. Safeguard tools have also been added to protect against any hateful content.
Any low-quality information or wrong content regarding this service can also be recognized and users can give back feedback to search engine for the same.
